Palmerstown House Estate and Stud has made a vast contribution to Irish horse racing folklore over the years. The golden age was undoubtedly during the 1950s and 1960s, when this stable produced countless winners in some of the most prestigious horse races in Ireland and Great Britain.

The competitive horse racing era at Palmerstown House came to an end in 1965, when Mrs Biddle decided to concentrate on her horse breeding interests. Despite the short time at the peak of the Irish racing, Palmerstown House will always be remembered as one of the finest stables in Ireland.

Today, horses still graze the lush pastures and the remains of this great horse racing legacy can still be seen in the fine stable buildings.

Horse riding can be arranged on an individual or group basis and is a magnificent way to view the 800 acre estate.
